Supported Living Service

Our supported living service provides innovative, enabling and person-centred support and accommodation to adults with learning disabilities, autism, learning difficulty and challenging behaviours, to live as independently as possible within their own homes and in the local community.

Our Model

Our model is based on Building the Right Support and Building the Right Home for People with a learning disability and/or autism, as they have the right to the same opportunities as anyone else, to live satisfying and valued lives and to be treated with dignity and respect. To develop and maintain positive relationships and to get the support they need to be healthy, safe and an active part of society.

Our Service offers opportunity to live independently with support, to exercise your choice, your rights and encourage inclusion, support with daily living skills and emotional well being.

Daily living skills

We provide a range of support based on individual needs and aspirations. Our service supports all aspects of daily life to develop the skills required to live more independently. This includes:

  • Personal care and Hygiene
  • Healthy eating
  • Taking medication
  • Maintaining the home / tenancy
  • Preparing meals
  • Paying bills and budgeting
  • Maintaining tenancies
  • Support with benefits
  • Employment / Training / further Education
  • Cultural and leisure activities
  • Participating in community-based activities
  • Hobbies

Support Team

Our highly trained team will ensure right from the beginning that you will know what we will do to support our client to attainable goals.

In order to achieve the best possible outcomes, we also work in close partnership with various stakeholders such as health and social care professionals, housing, education and vocational training providers and employers.

We believe there might be days when you just need a bit of advice, or would just like someone to talk to, our team are here for you.

Accommodation

The Beeches

The accommodation is maintained to a very high standard. Our Supported Living Service aim to support the needs of residents and work in partnership with them and other agencies to identify the needs and concerns and offer an effective support programme.


The property is a mid-terrace house, in a quiet residential area, perfectly located within walking distance to the town center and local amenities. The property is wheelchair access to the entire ground floor and the garden. The accommodation has off-street parking, and it is laid out in a homely manner, ideal for home share. There are three spacious double bedrooms, all on the first floor with toilet and bathroom. The kitchen has a broad range oven, washing machine, Fridge/freezer, and there is also a newly decorated downstairs toilet.


The open plan living room opens to the dining area, with up-to-date modern style furnishing.

The Burns Place

The Semi-Independent accommodation aim to maximise the individual’s independence which includes managing their own lives, support with a some care care and living independently as much as possible in the accommodation, supporting their choice and achieving value for money from their support package.


The flat is a purpose built spacious two bedrooms self-contained accommodation with external security doors, security front door, corridor, Lounge/Front room, Bedrooms, Kitchen, Toilet and bathroom. 

It is modern in its appearance and fitted with quality amenities, fittings and fixtures.
